Return To The Lord (Joel 2:13)

Lent: A time to turn from our sinful and wicked ways and run towards the Lord.

Our Lord waits patiently for our return, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

So let's turn around before it's too late.

Come back to me with all your heart,
fasting, weeping, mourning.

Let your hearts be broken,
not your garments torn,
turn to the Lord your God again,
for he is all tenderness and compassion,
slow to anger, rich in graciousness,
and ready to relent.

~Joel 2:12-13

Create in us a clean heart, O Lord
For we have turned our face from You

Save us from our ways, O Lord
For we have turned away from You

We will run to You,
Turning from our sin, we return to You
Father, heal Your world, make all things new
By Your love and mercy, build and shape us
Break and then re-create us

Lord, have mercy
Make all things new
